Description
Drop cookies with whole wheat flakes and coconut.
Ingredients
- ½ cup shortening
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flake cereal
- ½ cup flaked coconut
Directions
- 1. Cream shortening with sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla.
- 2. Mix together dry ingredients and stir into wet mix. Place by heaping spoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet.
- 3. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 10 minutes. Remove immediately to cool.
