Description

This is my version of the great Indian snack, but with easy to find (and cheap) ingredients. Try it before you knock it.

Ingredients
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ lime, juiced
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • 1 cup crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies®)
Directions
  1. 1. Combine onion, tomato, olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a bowl. Let sit 3 to 5 minutes. Add crispy rice cereal and serve immediately.
