Description
This is my version of the great Indian snack, but with easy to find (and cheap) ingredients. Try it before you knock it.
Ingredients
- ½ cup diced onion
- ½ cup chopped tomatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ lime, juiced
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 1 cup crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies®)
Directions
- 1. Combine onion, tomato, olive oil, lime juice, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a bowl. Let sit 3 to 5 minutes. Add crispy rice cereal and serve immediately.
