Description

My mom used to make us this cake when we were kids, It's delicious! For those of you who like jam, I recommend an apricot jam icing on this cake. It goes really well with the hint of lemon in the cake.

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon whiskey
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
