Description

This is a low-carb, quick-fix sea bass recipe. You can also use sturgeon or tilapia instead of sea bass. Plate on a bed of salad greens.

Ingredients
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 (6 ounce) fillets sea bass
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 ½ cups finely ground almonds
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 ½ cups grated Romano cheese
Directions
  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Melt butter in a 9x13-inch glass baking dish.
  2. 2. Pat sea bass fillets dry. Dip into beaten eggs. Coat with almonds; season with onion powder, seafood seasoning, salt, and garlic powder. Place in the buttered baking dish.
  3. 3. Bake in the preheated oven until fish is opaque, about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven; top with Romano cheese. Continue baking until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 5 minutes.
