Description

All the flavor and satisfaction of fresh cobbler without the hassle of baking. Serve over ice cream, top with whipped cream, or enjoy them plain!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ¼ cup water, or as desired
  • 2 flour tortillas, cut into 1x3-inch strips, or more to taste
Directions
  1. 1. Combine blackberries, sugar, butter, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir until blackberries start to break down, 5 to 10 minutes. Stir flour and salt into blackberry mixture; add water until desired consistency is reached. Bring to a simmer.
  2. 2. Place tortillas into the simmering blackberry mixture; simmer until tortilla "dumplings" are tender but not soggy, about 5 minutes.
