Description

I got this recipe from a friend and have been requested by others to share it. It's super easy, cheap and delicious. Don't be tempted to add more smoke flavoring. It will ruin the dish. Also, don't be tempted to add garlic or onions. I made these mistakes before. I recommend using very good crackers to serve with.

Ingredients
  • 1 (6 ounce) can salmon, bones and skin removed
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ⅓ cup finely chopped celery
  • ⅓ cup bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, or to taste
Directions
  1. 1. Mix salmon, mayonnaise, celery, bread crumbs, lemon juice, dill, liquid smoke, and Cajun seasoning together in a bowl. Form salmon mixture into a mold on a plate and loosely cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley.
