Description
Sriracha leads a sweet 'n spicy team of Sichuan peppercorns, five-spice, teriyaki, and oyster sauce to flavor this quick and easy sauteed shrimp recipe. Warning: this is spicy!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon teriyaki sauce
- ½ teaspoon five-spice powder
- ¼ teaspoon hot sauce (such as Cholula®)
- ⅛ teaspoon ground Sichuan peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 6 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Directions
- 1. Mix sriracha sauce, oyster sauce, teriyaki sauce, five-spice powder, hot sauce, and Sichuan peppercorns in a small bowl and reserve.
- 2. Heat oil in a medium pan over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook until mostly pink on the outside, about 3 minutes. Add the sauce and stir to coat shrimp. Cook until sauce is thick and sticky, 2 to 3 minutes more.
