Description

Most of the people that have tried this sesame chicken says it tastes so much better than the chicken on a stick you get from a Chinese restaurant... everyone loves it!

Ingredients
  • 10 bamboo skewers
  • 15 fluid ounces teriyaki sauce
  • 6 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 packet
  • 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Directions
  1. 1. Soak bamboo skewers in warm water for 1 hour.
  2. 2. While skewers soak, mix teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, lemon juice, garlic, and sweetener together in a large glass or ceramic bowl. Add chicken, cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour; the longer you marinate, the better the flavor.
  3. 3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  4. 4. Thread chicken onto bamboo skewers and place on a nonstick shallow baking pan. Discard marinade. Sprinkle chicken with sesame seeds.
  5. 5. Bake in the preheated oven until chicken pieces are no longer pink in the centers and juices run clear, 30 to 40 minutes.
