Vegan Whipped Cream with Cashews

Description
This vegan whipped cream recipe can be used on anything you would put whipped cream on!
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashews
- 1 cup water, or as needed
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup, or to taste
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- 1. Combine cashews and 2 cups of water in a bowl; cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate, 8 hours to overnight.
- 2. Discard soaking water, rinse cashews, and transfer to a blender. Add just enough fresh water to cover cashews. Blend, adding water as needed to achieve a smooth consistency. Add maple syrup and vanilla; blend to combine.
