Description

Simple salad with fresh taste and nice presentation.

Ingredients
  • 4 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced and halved
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, or to taste
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions
  1. 1. Place tomato slices around the edge of a plate overlapping slightly, tucking in halved onion slices and basil leaves between tomato slices. Put shredded mozzarella cheese in center of plate.
  2. 2. Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl; drizzle over tomatoes.
