One-Pot Cabbage Roll Soup

Description
Simple soup that tastes just like painstaking cabbage rolls! Cool and refrigerate for an easy dinner.
Ingredients
- ½ pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- 1 (14 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- ¼ medium head cabbage, chopped
- ½ cup uncooked brown rice
Directions
- 1. Cook and stir ground beef in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Add onion and cook until tender, 5 to 7 minutes. Add paprika, oregano, garlic powder, and basil; cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 2. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, cabbage, and rice; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and cook until rice is tender, 20 to 30 minutes.
