Description
Instead of using smoked pork fat, try this other smoky ingredient - smoked salt - for a healthier version of green beans.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- ½ (16 ounce) package frozen green beans, defrosted
- 1 tablespoon bacon bits
- ½ teaspoon hickory smoked salt, or to taste
- 1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
Directions
- 1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering. Add sesame seeds and cook for 1 minute; watch carefully as seeds burn quickly. Add green beans, bacon bits, smoked salt, and garlic powder. Cook and stir until beans are hot, about 3 minutes.
