Description

Instead of using smoked pork fat, try this other smoky ingredient - smoked salt - for a healthier version of green beans.

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • ½ (16 ounce) package frozen green beans, defrosted
  • 1 tablespoon bacon bits
  • ½ teaspoon hickory smoked salt, or to taste
  • 1 pinch garlic powder, or to taste
Directions
  1. 1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering. Add sesame seeds and cook for 1 minute; watch carefully as seeds burn quickly. Add green beans, bacon bits, smoked salt, and garlic powder. Cook and stir until beans are hot, about 3 minutes.
