Description

This is our family version of tater tot hot dish. It's a quick, easy, and wonderful comfort food! You can also use another 1/2 can of cream of chicken soup and mix it in with the beef mixture. You can also put different veggies in, like carrots or green beans.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (32 ounce) package tater tots
Directions
  1. 1. Preheat an oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  2. 2. Mix the ground beef, onion, and egg together in a bowl; spread evenly into the prepared baking dish. Arrange the tater tots over the beef mixture. Pour the chicken soup over the tater tots.
  3. 3. Bake in the preheated oven until the beef is cooked through and has reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (71 degrees C), about 1 hour.
