Description
This is our family version of tater tot hot dish. It's a quick, easy, and wonderful comfort food! You can also use another 1/2 can of cream of chicken soup and mix it in with the beef mixture. You can also put different veggies in, like carrots or green beans.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- ½ cup chopped yellow onion
- 1 egg
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (32 ounce) package tater tots
Directions
- 1. Preheat an oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- 2. Mix the ground beef, onion, and egg together in a bowl; spread evenly into the prepared baking dish. Arrange the tater tots over the beef mixture. Pour the chicken soup over the tater tots.
- 3. Bake in the preheated oven until the beef is cooked through and has reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (71 degrees C), about 1 hour.
