Description

Quick, easy, and a kid pleaser, these sausage balls are made without Bisquick®.

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups cornbread stuffing mix
  • ¾ cup hot water
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • ½ cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • ⅛ cup chopped green onion
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
Directions
  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Cover a large baking dish with aluminum foil.
  2. 2. Mix stuffing mix and water in a bowl until moistened. Add pork, Cheddar cheese, green onion, and baking powder. Mix well.
  3. 3. Shape into 1-inch balls and place into the prepared baking dish.
  4. 4. Bake in the preheated oven until browned and no longer pink in the centers, 18 to 20 minutes.
