Sausage Balls without Bisquick®

Description
Quick, easy, and a kid pleaser, these sausage balls are made without Bisquick®.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups cornbread stuffing mix
- ¾ cup hot water
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- ½ cup grated Cheddar cheese
- ⅛ cup chopped green onion
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
Directions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Cover a large baking dish with aluminum foil.
- 2. Mix stuffing mix and water in a bowl until moistened. Add pork, Cheddar cheese, green onion, and baking powder. Mix well.
- 3. Shape into 1-inch balls and place into the prepared baking dish.
- 4. Bake in the preheated oven until browned and no longer pink in the centers, 18 to 20 minutes.
