Description

This is a very old-fashioned pie and quite popular at Church dinners. A very simple recipe made with nuts, coconut and raisins.

Ingredients
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup flaked coconut
  • ½ cup raisins
Directions
  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Press the pie crust into the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie plate.
  2. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs lightly. Stir in the sugar, butter, walnuts, coconut, and raisins. Pour into the pie shell.
  3. 3. Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean.
