Description
Excellent one-dish dinner! Garnish with finely sliced ham and egg strips. Top with Chinese parsley.
Ingredients
- ¾ pound pork, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon shoyu (soy sauce)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon white sugar
- 1 slice ginger, crushed
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 rice rolls (look fun), sliced into 1/4-inch strips
- 10 ounces bean sprouts
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 cup finely sliced string beans
- 1 cup green onions cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons shoyu (soy sauce)
- 1 slice ginger, crushed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- ¼ teaspoon monosodium glutamate (such as Aji-No-Moto®)
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- 1. Combine pork, 1 tablespoon shoyu, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, and 1 slice crushed ginger in a bowl. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add pork with marinade; cook and stir until pork is browned, about 5 minutes. Stir rice roll strips into the skillet; cook until edges start to brown, 3 to 5 minutes.
- 3. Stir bean sprouts, celery, string beans, green onions, 2 tablespoons shoyu, 1 slice crushed ginger, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/4 teaspoon monosodium glutamate, and pepper into the skillet. Cook and stir until string beans are tender, about 10 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds.
