Spicy Apple Cider

Description
Easy and tasty soft apple cider appropriate for kids and adults. This is great on a cold winter day or for a Christmas party.
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 4 cinnamon sticks, or more to taste
- 1 tablespoon whole cloves
- ½ teaspoon ground allspice
- 8 cups apple juice
- 2 oranges, thinly sliced into rounds
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
Directions
- 1. Combine water, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice in a large pot; bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until flavors combine, about 10 minutes. Strain and discard spices. Return spiced water to the pot.
- 2. Stir apple juice, orange slices, and lemon slices into spiced water. Cook over medium-high heat until heated through, 10 to 15 minutes.
