Description

Easy and tasty soft apple cider appropriate for kids and adults. This is great on a cold winter day or for a Christmas party.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cinnamon sticks, or more to taste
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice
  • 8 cups apple juice
  • 2 oranges, thinly sliced into rounds
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced into rounds
Directions
  1. 1. Combine water, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice in a large pot; bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until flavors combine, about 10 minutes. Strain and discard spices. Return spiced water to the pot.
  2. 2. Stir apple juice, orange slices, and lemon slices into spiced water. Cook over medium-high heat until heated through, 10 to 15 minutes.
