Description
This is a simple recipe for baked beans, and oh so good.
Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon
- 2 (28 ounce) cans baked beans
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
- 1 large sweet onion, chopped
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
Directions
- 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- 2. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
- 3. In a large bowl combine beans, chili sauce, onion, brown sugar and bacon. Pour into a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
- 4. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
