Description

A simple healthy snack to keep you warm on a cold winter night.

Ingredients
  • 4 Granny Smith apples
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 tablespoons peanut butter
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
Directions
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. 2. Slice tops off apples with a sharp knife. Core apples with an apple corer, leaving the bottoms intact.
  3. 3. Splash vanilla extract into the cored apples; spoon 1 1/2 tablespoons of peanut butter into each one. Place apples in a baking pan; sprinkle with cardamom and cloves.
  4. 4. Bake in the preheated oven until apples are softened and fragrant, about 30 minutes.
