Description

A punch recipe that was my Mother's. It has a unique flavor due to the almond extract. This punch was served at my wedding in 1956.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 (3 ounce) package lime flavored Jell-O® mix
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
  • 2 cups bottled lemon juice (such as ReaLemon®)
  • 2 tablespoons almond extract
  • 4 cups cold water
Directions
  1. 1. Mix sugar and lime gelatin mix in a large bowl.
  2. 2. Stir 4 cups boiling water into gelatin mixture until sugar and gelatin have dissolved.
  3. 3. Thoroughly chill gelatin mixture in refrigerator, about 1 hour.
  4. 4. Place lime gelatin mixture into a large punch bowl; stir in pineapple juice, lemon juice, almond extract, and 4 cups cold water until thoroughly combined.
