Description

Chopped jalapeno peppers provide some heat to this classic avocado salsa.

Ingredients
  • 2 fully ripened Avocados from Mexico, halved, pitted and diced
  • 1 cup chopped tomato
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons chopped jalapeno pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Directions
  1. 1. In a bowl, toss avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, and salt just until combined. Cover and refrigerate.
  2. 2. Serve with tortilla chips or sliced vegetables, if desired.
