Description
If you're looking to ice the top of a French Apple Pie, you've found the right place! This is wonderfully buttery white icing that adds to the flavor of an apple pie.
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- ½ cup confectioners' sugar
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter. Blend in flour and sugar. Then mix in milk and vanilla. More milk may be added to enhance spreading consistency of icing. Spread icing onto cooled apple pie.
